Enjoy two amazing destinations for the price of one!
Although not widely known, this option is a great opportunity to discover two countries rather than one in the same trip.
If you’re flying to Central America with Copa Air or even South America, you’ll probably have to make a stopover at the Panama City hub. If you have to make a stopover, why not take the opportunity to visit Panama. These stopovers are a free option offered by the national airline to develop tourism and allow people to discover this wonderful country.
You can schedule your stopover from 24 hours to 6 nights / 7 days. Two countries for the price of one, why not take advantage of it! Whether you are on vacation or on a relocation trip to Costa Rica, Ecuador or Nicaragua, come and get an idea about Panama which should also be considered for your project.
From Panama City you can easily access the San Blas or the Caribbean coast near Portobello (about 2-3 hours drive) or come visit us on the Pacific coast at Casa Swell to discover Playa Coronado (about 1h15 hours drive, transfer available) and the surrounding waves, Valle de Anton and its hikes in canyons, waterfalls and volcanoes. So, why deprive yourself !?
Well, I’ll tell you right away that the online stopover module on the copaair website doesn’t seem to work very well so I suggest you make your reservation by phone with copa or a travel agent for this option which must absolutely be requested at the time of the reservation to be valid.
